Since moving into the bigger studio in Andover, one of the first things I’ve been keen to focus on is shooting podcasts properly – with consistent sets, good lighting, reliable audio, and a setup that doesn’t need rebuilding every time.

So far, we’ve already recorded podcasts for The Full Frame and The Franchise Marketing Show, and it’s confirmed exactly why opening a dedicated podcast and video studio in Andover felt like the right move.

The sessions have been smoother, calmer, and quicker to run, which means I haven’t had to tear down the equipment every time to make space.

A purpose-built podcast studio in Andover

The biggest improvement so far has been having dedicated podcast sets ready to go.

That means:

  • consistent framing
  • consistent lighting
  • professional audio
  • and a repeatable look and feel

For anyone producing a podcast, whether weekly, monthly, or in batches it’s the consistency really matters. It helps shows feel established and professional, and it saves time on every recording.

Both The Full Frame and The Franchise Marketing Show now have their own setups in the studio, which makes recording faster and more efficient.

Getting more value from podcast content

One of the main reasons people are booking a video podcast studio rather than just audio is the ability to get more content from each session.

In the studio, we can:

  • record full podcast episodes

  • shoot video podcasts
  • capture podcast clips for social media
  • create vertical short-form content
  • or even record just clips in a podcast-style setup

That last option is something more businesses are starting to explore — using a podcast environment to record short, focused pieces of content that feel natural and conversational, without committing to a full podcast series.

It works particularly well for:

  • answering FAQs
  • sharing expertise
  • building trust on camera
  • creating LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube content

It looks professional, it’s not ‘too pushy’ but it gets the message across clearly and concisely.

More podcasts coming soon

I’m genuinely excited to be shooting more podcasts in the studio over the next few months.

Having a dedicated podcast studio in Andover makes it much easier to:

  • launch new shows
  • bring existing podcasts into a consistent space
  • batch record episodes
  • and collaborate with guests

It also creates a relaxed environment for guests, which always leads to better conversations and better content.

Not just podcasts

While podcasts are a big focus, the studio is also set up for:

  • video content
  • business and branded video
  • Photography
  • product photography

The aim is to give businesses and creators a single space where they can create a wide range of content — without jumping between locations or setups.

Looking ahead

So far, the studio has done exactly what I hoped it would: made content creation simpler, more consistent, and more enjoyable.

If you’re thinking about launching a podcast, refreshing an existing one, or using a podcast-style setup to create short-form video content, the studio is now open and ready.
